PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The bureau is responsible for all hardcopy and electronic data produced by or submitted to the Site Remediation Program. It is comprised of several sections serving internal and external clients.
The Information Services section designs and implements information systems supporting data collection, entry, management, and analysis. It oversees electronic data submission activities required to comply with the program. It provides public access to electronic records through Data Miner reporting portal. The Information Services section is also responsible for GIS data production, ensuring compliance with standards, and dissemination.
The Program Support Section is responsible for maintaining the Site Remediation Program's web site and ensuring timely posting and availability of public information. Additional responsibilities include graphics support and procurement of information technology products and services.
The Office of Record Access exists within the bureau. It is responsible for the archiving and production of government records in accordance with the Federal Freedom of Information Act and state Open and Public Records Act (OPRA).
