New Jersey Natural Lands Trust

Franklin Township, Gloucester County
86 Acres

When donated to the Trust in 1997, the Black Acres property had been considered for development of a golf course. The golf course never was built, and today the surrounding land is part of the Division of Fish and Wildlife as White Oak Branch Wildlife Management Area.

Public Access and Uses:
Since the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife has a strong enforcement presence at the White Oak Branch Wildlife Management Area, the Trust allows deer hunting at this preserve without the need for registration. Access to the site is available from the wildlife management area.
