This Web site is designed to provide members of the public with Site Remediation information and links that they may find helpful. As additional information is developed, it will be made available here.

Technical Assistance Grants (TAGs)

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection announces the introduction of a Technical Assistance Grant program. The program provides funding to nonprofit community groups to employ independent Licensed Site Remediation Professionals as technical advisors to perform activities to improve the public's understanding of environmental conditions and remediation of contaminated sites in their communities. Information about the eligibility requirements and application process is available below.

TAG Rule

The requirements for obtaining a TAG are available in Subchapter 10 of the Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites (N.J.A.C. 7:26C). This rule establishes the eligibility requirements, the pre-application and application requirements, the eligible TAG activities, and the reporting requirements for a community group that has received a TAG.
