[SRRA]: NJDEP Site Remediation Program - Hot Topics Training: Updated Guidance for the Impact to Ground Water Pathway

NJDEP Impact to Ground Water Pathway Training:
Thursday July 24, 2014 from 3-6 pm (check in at 2:30) NJDEP Public Hearing Room 401 E. State St., Trenton, NJ

Program Description:
Over the past 12 months, several guidance documents have been updated for determination of alternative remediation standards for the Impact to Ground Water pathway. These updates and other related topics will be presented at a training program in the NJDEP Public Hearing Room on July 24, 2014 from 3-6 pm. The basis of the default Impact to Ground Water screening levels will be briefly discussed, followed by presentations on the new guidance for the Soil Water Partition Equation, the Dilution-Attenuation Factor, the Synthetic Precipitation Leaching Procedure, Capping and the combined SESOIL/AT123D model. The application of the Compliance/Attainment document to the impact to ground water pathway and the proposed changes to the Impact to Ground Water Soil Remediation Standards will also be discussed.

The Department has applied to the SRPL Board for 3 hours of technical continuing education credits for this course for LSRPs that attend in person. Please note: Attendees who arrive and sign-in for the class more than 45 minutes late will not be eligible to receive CEC's.
