[SRRA]: Updated Unregulated Heating Oil Tank (UHOT) System Remediation Form available

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has updated its Unregulated Heating Oil Tank (UHOT) System Remediation Form for submitting remedial action reports for unregulated heating tank cleanups. Specifically, the fee requirements under section D of the form have been revised to indicate that a $400 fee is required with the submittal regardless of whether the case is going through the LSRP program and is paying an annual fee. This revision is in accordance with N.J.A.C 7:26C-4.4. Additionally, the instructions for the form have been updated to reflect that for sites subject to ARRCS, the form is only to be used if the person responsible for conducting remediation is requesting that the Department issue a No Further Action letter. The instructions further explain that the form is not to be used for sites subject to and being remediated pursuant to the Industrial Site Recovery Act and Rules. For these sites, the remediation of the unregulated heating oil tank system is to be performed by the LSRP and included in the RAO for the entire site.
