The Safe Drinking Water Construction Permits – Southern Section reviews permit applications related to water distribution system modifications and issuance or denial of permits. This includes:

• Water Main Extensions
• Storage and Pumping Stations Facilities evaluation
• Evaluation of storage waiver statewide

In addition, the section reviews permit applications related to modifications or construction of new sources and new water treatment facilities. This includes:

• Review of proposals for new water systems
• Review of new or modification to existing sources of water supply including construction standards of wells or surface water intakes
• Review of new or modification to existing water treatment facilities evaluations
