ATTENTION: May 3, 2011 Remediation Standards Stakeholder Meeting Postponed

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection scheduled a meeting on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 401 East State Street, Trenton, NJ to obtain stakeholder input in connection with the Remediation Standard readoption effort. This meeting has been postponed.

The reason for the postponement is to allow the Department to reevaluate the scheduling of its rule making efforts. Recent legislation extending rule sunset dates and a desire to encourage increased stakeholder participation are the crucial aspects being considered.

The Remediation Standard readoption meeting will be rescheduled in the future, and notification of a new time and location will be provided through the SRRA Web site and the SRRA listserv system. The Department apologizes for the late notice and any inconvenience this has caused.
