Richard C. Gore

Rich Gore is the director of Finance and Administration for the Delaware River Basin Commission.  Responsibilities include management of the commission's financial activities (such as budgetary preparation, accounting, contract oversight, human resources, insurance, and facilities manager) and information technology (including network systems, data management, and GIS capabilities). Rich also serves as the Public Records Officer

He was originally appointed as the DRBC's Chief Administrative Officer on January 11, 1988.  He served as Acting Executive Director from March 13, 2014 until July 31, 2014.

Prior to joining DRBC, Rich was the Director of Finance for the County of Bucks, Pennsylvania responsible for planning and preparation of a $110 million operating budget and providing financial advice to the Board of County Commissioners. As Finance Director he also oversaw the operations of the County Board of Assessment, Purchasing Department, Information Processing, Budget Office, Personal Property Tax Department, and the Tax Claim Bureau. Prior to being appointed Director of Finance, he served eight years as County Budget Director.

Rich has held positions with the City of Philadelphia as a Financial Analyst and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority as a Senior Budget Analyst.

He has served on the board of directors of the Delaware Valley Regional Finance Authority, a multi-county authority that provides funds for capital projects to local governments in Pennsylvania.

A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Rich resides in Bucks County, Pa.
