Abstract: Golden Gate Inc., a nonprofit organization, has partnered with the Yorkship Family School, Charles Sumner Elementary School and Creatve Arts Morgan Village Academy to provide high-quality enrichment out-of-school-time activities. The organization has formed collaborative relationships with J.O.Y (Just Our Youth), and Games, Games, Games.  Daily, students will receive support in Language Arts and Math with activities that include small group instruction, homework help, tutoring, test preparation, academic enrichment activities, physical fitness, dance, art, service learning and field trips.  Quaterly family activities are held at each site.  The Center will involve local businesses and organizations in its youth development education initiative. This service learning program will teach students to apply their academic skills and knowledge to address real-life needs in their own communities while developing an ethic of service and civic responsibility.
