Sheltered English Instruction Training of Trainers Workshop

photo

In 2013, the New Jersey Department of Education in collaboration with Equity Assistance Center Region 2 at Touro College (a federally funded program that assists public schools) created a workshop for administrators and teachers who want to train district staff in sheltered English instruction (SEI).  Since then, thousands of teachers around New Jersey have been trained in SEI strategies as a result of the workshop.  Every year, a new cohort of New Jersey district trainers is selected to participate through an application process.  The FABRIC Paradigm is used as an organizational framework for this workshop.

To register, complete the application below, scan it, and email it to ELL@doe.state.nj.us with "Application for Workshop" in the subject line.  You will be notified of acceptance and then will be sent a registration link.
