Presented by: Lynore M. Carnuccio
Power Point Presentation
This presentation was sponsored by the Office of Specialized Populations, Bureau of Bilingual/ESL Education to assist districts in implementing the World-class Instructional Design and Assessment (WIDA) standards to develop ESL curricula and assist instruction of English Language Learners in the content area class. The WIDA standards are a curriculum and assessment planning tool for content area language objectives. The proficiency-based strands allow educators to gauge where LEP students are and how to appropriately challenge them in reaching the next levels.
