SECONDARY SCIENCE High Technology High School Lois Lyons has taught AP Chemistry, Laboratory Chemistry and Research/Data Analysis II for 13 years at High Technology High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Rutgers University and her Master of Arts degree with distinction in science, mathematics and computer curricula from Kean University. Lois is the founder and advisor of the schools Environmental Club, and she was named State Trail Volunteer for 2002. The College Board recently honored her with a 2004 Worlds Highest AP Chemistry Scores for a small school. Many of her students continue to study chemistry. They attribute their interest to their teachers high expectations, hard work and humor which creates an environment that fosters a love of learning. |
