NJ STATE FINALISTS
SECONDARY MATHEMATICS Marlboro High School Margaret Dever graduated from the College of St. Elizabeth and earned her Masters degree in mathematics from Rutgers University. She has taught for 37 years at Marlboro High School, serving as advisor to the Asian Club, Academic and Math Teams. She was named as a most influential teacher by a Presidential Scholar and was honored as a New Jersey Governor’s Teacher Recognition Program recipient. Margaret is also an adjunct professor at Middlesex County College. Believing that virtually every concept can be learned by asking the right leading questions, she expects her students to actively participate in their learning experience. Her goal is to inspire life-long learners who will share her love of discovery and appreciate the beauty of mathematics. |
