        • Statewide survey results: 1)Federal Reports for 2004 and 2005 on classes taught by highly qualified teachers at the elementary and secondary levels, disaggregated by high poverty and low poverty; 2) the number and percent of teachers in the state who meet the NCLB definition of a highly qualified teacher at the elementary, middle and high school levels in the aggregate and disaggregated by high and low poverty; and 3) the percent of core academic subject classes in the state taught by highly qualified teachers at the elementary, middle and high school levels, disaggregated by core subject area as well as by high and low poverty.

          Individual district survey results: 1) number of teachers of core academic subjects in the district; 2) percent of teachers in the district who meet the NCLB definition of a highly qualified teacher for at least one subject taught, as well as for all subjects taught; 3) percent of core academic subject classes in the district taught by highly qualified teachers in the aggregate (all classes) and disaggregated by core academic subject area.
