Four schools were designated as New Jersey Schools to Watch® for 2008-2009: Holland Township School, Roosevelt Middle School in West Orange, Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School in Berlin Township and Medford Memorial Middle School in Medford Township.

The four schools designated as New Jersey Schools To Watch® for 2008-2009 were recognized for their exemplary achievements in middle grades education at the NJ Statewide Middle Schools Conference at Kean University on March 27, 2009. The schools are showcased statewide and nationally and become part of a network to assist and mentor other schools to achieve success. The schools will also be featured at the annual Schools To Watch National Conference in Washington D.C. June 25-27. New Jersey is one of 18 states participating in the Schools to Watch® improvement program sponsored by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle Grades Reform. |
