NJHire Overview

NJ Hire is an online recruitment tool to assist applicants in locating and applying for jobs in New Jersey school districts.  The service is provided by the company USTeach, not the New Jersey Department of Education.  In 2010, NJHIre was transitioned to a subscription service model based on processing costs.  Free searches of job openings and career events continue to be available through the site; however, if applicants desire recruitment and application support through the NJ Hire electronic system, they will be asked to pay a fee to USTeach for that service.  Fees are graduated according to the level of services desired.  Please consult the NJHire site for detailed information on the services available to applicants.  Please also note that NJHire is available free of charge to all districts for use in their recruitment efforts; however the New Jersey Department of Education does not require districts to use NJHire.
