Developing Meaningful IEPs for Preschoolers with Disabilities in General Education Programs

This workshop will assist school district personnel in writing meaningful IEPs that support preschool students with disabilities to successfully participate in high quality general education classrooms. The presentation will address how to develop measurable IEP goals and objectives that reflect developmentally appropriate preschool practices. The session will also describe how to embed these goals within the activities and routines of a general education classroom.
Audience: Special education supervisors, child study team members, special and general education preschool teachers, and parents.
