International Education Week Begins Today
TRENTON The Department of Education and State Board are pleased to recognize International Education Week, which focuses, among other things, on increased student knowledge and awareness of world cultures, peoples and languages.
International Education Week begins today and concludes on Friday, Nov. 22.
The U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education sponsors International Education Week, stating that people-to-people diplomacy, created through international education and exchanges, is critical to our national interests.
Reporters are encouraged to call their local school districts to find out what events are scheduled for International Education Week.
