MCGREEVEY TO PROMOTE EDUCATION ACCOMPLISHMENTS, BOOK CLUB IN BERGEN COUNTY ON FRIDAY
On Friday, January 17th, Governor James E. McGreevey and Department of Education Commissioner William Librera will promote the Governor’s Book Club, a monthly statewide reading club, to kindergarteners at Roosevelt Elementary School on Stuyvesant Avenue in Lyndhurst at 11:15 a.m.
The Governor will read and hand-out copies of the January book selection, Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson, and provide a demonstration of the Book Club’s website, www.nj.gov/bookclub.
After the Governor and Commissioner are finished reading to the children, the Governor will highlight the Administration’s education accomplishments and discuss his vision for education, as outlined in his State of the State address on Tuesday.
