Bullying Awareness and Prevention Seminar Offered by Department of Education; May 6 Seminar Registration Now Open

Lincroft, NJ -- More than 100 education leaders from around the state will attend a seminar on bullying awareness and prevention to be presented by the Department of Education on Friday, April 15, 2011.
The program is hosted by the Department’s Office of Governance and Leadership in partnership with Brookdale Community College’s Education Department. The program is open to school superintendents, principals, administrators and supervisors. It takes place in the lecture hall of the MAN Building 105 on the Brookdale campus.
The purpose of this forum is to provide school districts with an overview of the new anti-bullying law and what it requires school districts to do. A similar seminar will be presented at William Paterson University on May 6, 2011.
