This well-developed narrative about a group of ophans living in a poor "city" in Canada represents a complete and elaborated response. The vivid word choices (... and filled with mud and muck, as if I was playing in a sandbox in the rain.) and the use of foreshadowing (She is known as the "mother" of the group because she always makes sure we're bathed and got enough sleep.) in the story effectively enhances the plot. This student demonstrates a superior command of the language.
