Writing Sample Scoring "3"

The following  writing sample for the Sample Persuasive Writing Prompt C scored a "3" based on the New Jersey Registered Holistic Scoring Rubric.  

Scorers made the following comments about the sample below:

This sample shows content that is basically focused but the development is thin. Problems with mechanics include spelling, punctuation, and pronoun reference. The sentence structure is confusing at times, enough so to affect the fluency and meaning.
