Reassessing the conflict
Is the conflict still the same conflict that you identified earlier? Has it changed? Have you identified any smaller or more subtle conflicts in the story?
What is the climax?
In this story, the climax is not an action climax. What did you determine the conflict for the story was? Did your conflict seem to be over at some point? Did, perhaps, you reach a point where the conflict was no longer important? You might have found the climax.
What is the resolution?
Is there a lesson learned? Does Mama come away with a greater understanding or knowledge of the world? Do the other characters have a better understanding of the world? Are they happier or sadder, wiser or more foolish? Is there a theme connected with the human condition? How does the story end? Is it satisfying? Why or why not?
