In planning for subsequent years, we have budgeted for two new departments to receive “Smart Classrooms,” and for an additional room to be set up in each of the initial departments. Upgrades for new software & equipment will be based on teacher requests and equipment use patterns.

Educational institutions have a difficult time keeping up with all the new technology, so it is important to weigh new purchases against their intended use.

Encourage department coordinators to involve other department members in the purchasing of equipment and in generating ideas for its use.
