School Consultation
- The LEA must offer Title I services to eligible children enrolled
in private elementary and secondary schools annually.
- Services must be equitable in comparison to services and other
benefits for participating public schools.
- There must be an annual consultation.
- LEAs must contact private schools in written form and provide
consultation. Consultation must provide the following information:
- Criteria for low-income eligibility,
- How the childrens needs will be identified,
- Services to be offered,
- How and where the services will be provided,
- How the services will be assessed,
- The size and scope of services provided, and
- The signature of private school representatives.
