Guidance - Story Introduction Overview In this segment of the video, the teacher has students preview the story by using an instructional strategy called the Picture Walk. The students look through the pictures in the story and make predictions as to what they think will happen in the story. Then they share their predictions. Classroom Activity: Observations The teacher asks the students to explain why they made certain predictions. This corresponds with Bloom's Taxonomy Level 6 - Evaluation, which includes justification of responses to questions. |
