Practice - Composing the Text

Now that you've viewed the video and read the Guidance section of this module:

1. Begin to compose the class letter, poem, paragraph, etc.
2. As you share the pen with the students, ask what should be done as they progress through the writing piece.
3. Use elements of the class discussion (that you determine to be appropriate) to teach a mini-lesson on some aspect of language arts literacy. Take advantage of teachable moments that may arise.
