Overview

In this video clip, the teacher informally assesses students. She accomplishes this task by:

  • asking students questions about puppets (background knowledge);

  • listening to student responses to ascertain who needs additional information and who can be utilized as a resource to help other students; and

  • walking around to determine which students are actively engaged in the activities.
