Now that you've viewed the video and read the "Guidance" section of this module:

  • As students engage in motivation/background knowledge activities, check for student understanding of concepts presented.

  • If needed, create learning opportunities to build background knowledge - hands on, multiple media, etc.

  • Notice the students who have grasped concepts presented and have them pair with other students who still may need help in building background knowledge.
