Now that you've viewed the video and read the Guidance section of this module:
- Before implementing the video segment activity:
- Think about the grade level of the students you teach. Select picture cards that could relate to a story you're currently reading. Or, select picture cards that correspond to an activity you're teaching in another content area.
- Think about how you will give additional support to students who are having difficulty.
- Implement the activity demonstrated in the video segment.
- Review picture cards with students to make sure they know what they are.
- Allow other students to help identify pictures that may be causing some children problems.
- Observe student responses.
- Allow the other children to help, if the student is having difficulty.
