Now that you've viewed the video and read the Guidance section of this module:

  1. Before implementing the video segment activity:
    • Create a set of cards with the students' first names.
    • Or, think of an alternative to using student name cards, if you want to vary the activity. Could you use picture cards that would correspond to multisyllabic words?
    • Think about how you will give additional support to students who are having difficulty.
  2. Implement the activity demonstrated in the video segment.
    • Observe student responses. Find out which students are having difficulty with the activity.
