Small Group Instruction - Title I Teacher
Now that you've viewed the video and read the Guidance section of this module:
- Before implementing the video segment activity:
- Look through a story for rhyming words. Or, select a few words from a story and think of words that would rhyme with them.
- Cut out pictures from a magazine or create pictures of the words selected.
- Think about how you will give additional support to students who are having difficulty.
- Then implement the activity presented in the video segment.
- Observe student responses. Are the students able to complete this activity satisfactorily? Are the children having difficulty distinguishing the sounds in this activity?
