Training Information NJ SMART will provide targeted training for all LEAs and users. Please review the information below for a summary of offered trainings, dates and times, and how to access our WebEx presentation website. A comprehensive training schedule will be emailed to NJ SMART users at the beginning of each month. How do I participate in training? Each training will be web-based and last approximately 60 minutes. You do not need to register for a session in advance. Please be advised that NJ SMART has a new dial-in number and conference ID for training webinars. Simply follow these instructions:

Training Dates Course Roster Submission Training – This training will provide information on NJ SMART’s newest submission for staff and student level course data. This training is required for all LEAs that are submitting to Course Roster Submission. Users will be presented information on the following:
Training Schedule: CTE Submission Training - This course will provide detailed information specific to the CTE Submission, including an in-depth review of data elements and validation rules, and best practices for ensuring the highest CTE Submission data quality. This training is required for all LEAs that have a Career and Technical Education program. Training Schedule: May 02: 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM High School Graduation Rate Training – This course will provide detailed information specific to the new High School Graduation District Reports. This training is required for all LEAs and users. Topics include:
Training Schedule: May 08: 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM State Submission Training – This training will provide detailed information specific to the State Submission, including recommendations of how to utilize the Local Data Mart period, an in-depth review of new data elements and validation rules, and best practices for ensuring the highest State Submission data quality. This training is required for all LEAs and users. Training Schedule: May 03: 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM District Reports Training – This training is recommended for any user who is new to District Reports. This training is an introduction to the District Report features and functionality. Topics will include the following:
