Current Department Bidding Opportunities:

  • The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Special Education Mediators who will supplement the pool of mediators currently available to conduct special education mediation conferences. Please email purchasing@doe.state.nj.us for a copy of the RFQ, which includes important dates and times, including a due date/time for proposals. Bid submissions must be received by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, October 2, 2017.  Any proposal received after that time will be deemed late and considered non-responsive. NJDOE reserves the right to modify these dates, as needed.

  • Request for Qualifications for New Jersey Teacher Performance Assessment (NJTPA)
    This solicitation will not result in a contract with the NJDOE.  The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit proposals from qualified applicants to develop and implement a New Jersey Teacher Performance Assessment (NJTPA), which is formally required for licensure starting in the 2017-2018 school year. This assessment is intended to measure the pedagogical skills for candidates seeking certification, and is ultimately aimed at providing New Jersey students with better prepared novice teachers. Bid submissions must be received by  5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on: September 29, 2017.  Any proposal received after that time will be deemed late and considered non-responsive.  NJDOE reserves the right to modify these dates, as needed.
