Bio: Robert Bumpus
Bob Bumpus is the Executive Director for the NJDOE's Region 7 Regional Achievement Center.
In his role, he and his team are responsible for supporting turnaround efforts in Priority and Focus Schools in Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, Salem and Gloucester Counties. Prior to leading the Region 7 team, Mr. Bumpus was Executive County Superintendent in Gloucester and Salem Counties.  He has served school districts in varied roles including teacher, assistant principal, principal, and superintendent. He earned his M.A. and B.A. from Rowan University and is certified as a social studies and language arts teacher, as well as a principal and school administrator.  Mr. Bumpus enjoys exercising on a regular basis and spending time with his family.
