9/24/12 - LEA monitoring plan released. Please see the "LEA Monitoring Plan" tab on the left ribbon for details.
Note: LEAs will be reporting based on their allocations and have been separated into three classes. Each class will report on a different date.
7/9/12 - As of July 1, 2012, all LEAs may start incurring costs associated with their Race to the Top scopes of work. LEAs will be able to request and receive reimbursements for those expenses as soon as their scopes of work have been formally approved in EWEG.
You will receive an automated message from EWEG indicating when your SOW is formally approved. You can also check your status by opening your application in EWEG.
If your application status is ‘Final Approved,’ you are all set.
If your application status says ‘Returned for Changes’, you must make revisions to your SOW before it can be approved. Click on the bullet hole next to the application title and then the ‘Review Summary’ button. A new window will pop up and you should see comments either under the tab labeled OGM or ACC.
If your application status says anything else, it just means it is currently being reviewed by NJDOE personnel.

3/6/12 - The New Jersey Department of Education led a Technical Assistance Session which included an overview of Race to the Top 3, a summary of New Jersey’s approved plan as well as a review of LEA allowable expenditures. Also included was an overview of LEA scopes of work, a review of the timeline for LEA scopes of work, and examples of goals for LEAs to model as they build their scope of work (goals, objectives, implementation activities) in the EWEG system.

3/5/12 Update on Scopes of Work in EWEG and Technical Assistance Reminder:
It has come to our attention that many of you have been experiencing a delay in accessing the RTTT3 scope of work template in EWEG.
In order to access the RTTT3 discretionary grant, you must request access to the RTTT3 scope of work in EWEG through your Web User Administrator. Once you have requested this access there is usually a 24 hour turnaround time until receiving access. Given this delay, we will be extending the deadline for scopes of work. The new due date for scopes of work to be complete in EWEG is March 21st at 4pm.
We apologize for this inconvenience and for not being clearer in our instructions for accessing the template. If you continue to experience difficulty with access, and the 24 hour wait time has elapsed, or, if you are having problems entering data into the RTTT3 scope of work template, please contact the EWEG help desk at email@example.com. For your convenience, there is a help desk link at the bottom of every EWEG page. Thank you for your patience as we have worked through these technical obstacles.
Finally, just a reminder that on Tuesday, March 6th we will hold a technical assistance webinar for all participating LEAs from 3:30 – 4:30pm. Instructions for accessing the webinar, as well as other information, can be found on our RTTT3 website, recent updates: http://www.nj.gov/education/rttt3/updates/
3/1/12 Scope of Work template live in EWEG: As of 2/29/12, the scope of work template is available in EWEG for participating LEAs to access and begin entering information for scopes of work. 3/1/12 Technical Assistance: NJDOE will be offering a technical assistance webinar on Tuesday, March 6th from 3:30 – 4:30pm. During this time the Department will give an overview of the State’s plan and LEA allowable expenditures, provide an overview of the EWEG scope of work template, and answer questions. It is highly recommended that all participating LEAs take advantage of this opportunity for further assistance with their scopes of work. See instructions for accessing the webinar. The session will also be recorded and posted on our website.
