Non-Public Symposium

The State will sponsor two state-wide Non-public School Security Symposiums. The symposiums will bring together non-public school administrators and local emergency responders to discuss the specific needs of nonpublic schools and how they connect with the community and school districts around them.

The symposiums will include a School Security State-of-the-State, Governor's School Security Task Force update, overview of New Jersey Statutes including the school security drill law, and information on school safety and security plan requirements. 

The symposiums will be offered in the spring of 2013 and will focus on enhancing communication, collaboration and coordination between local emergency responders and non-public schools.”
