Materials for the First Teleconference regarding Post-School Transition Outcomes Study: Cohort 1 to be held on April 20, 2011
The Power Point provides an overview of the federally required Post School Transition Outcomes Study (PSO) under the State Performance Plan (SPP), Indicator # 14. Indicator # 14 of the SPP, requires the state to report the percent of youth who are no longer in secondary school, had an Individualized Education Program (IEP) in effect at the time they left school, and were:
- Enrolled in higher education within one year of leaving school
- Enrolled in higher education within one year of leaving school or competitively employed within one year of leaving high school.
- Enrolled in higher education or in some other postsecondary
education or training program; or competitively employed or in some other employment within one year of leaving high school. (20 U.S.C 1416 (a)(3)(B)
