| Statement of Effectiveness | EIRC is a non-profit agency that has demonstrated its excellence in professional development for more than 35 years. Our tutorial program will provide the very best in materials, support and most importantly student achievement in the NJ Core Curriculum Standards in reading and math. Tutoring takes place in the child's home school with the very best of that district's tutors providing small group instruciton. This gives each child an emptionally safe environment in which to achieve the critical fourteen essential reading skills and/or the seven math strands building a foundaiton for higher learning. Parents are given the opportunity to help plan their chld's program and receive feedback on an ongoing basis. | |||||||||||||||||||||

All students will experience success and learn the advantages of emotionally achieving their goals. Tutoring sessions will be individualized and there will be a ratio of not more than one to four. Tutoring will take place in a child's school with EIRC employing their very best teachers to provide instruction. Parents will be included in all aspects of the tutoring process with monthly reports and phone calls. |
