NCLB Teacher Training
The NCLB Teacher Training module IV was developed by the Office of Title I Program Planning and Accountability in collaboration with regional offices, county education offices, the Office of Educational Standards, and other program offices and divisions. The research shows that teachers can link students, other teachers, school administrators, families, and community members to foster the learning success and healthy development of their students.
The purpose of this module is to provide background and deliver support to Title I teachers and district leaders to help their students achieve high academic performance. This module provides teachers with a more comprehensive understanding of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB).
This module provides information in the following areas:
- A high-level framework of NCLB and Title I requirements
- Scientifically based research strategies to increase student achievement
- The Title I and state single accountability requirements
- Instructional strategies based on data analysis
- Activities to build capacity for parental involvement
