Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno and the Adjutant General Brig. Gen. Michael L. Cunniff joined more than 1,400 Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Brownies from troops throughout New Jersey May 25, 2012 in placing flags on the graves of 43,000 veterans at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in preparation for the State's Memorial Day ceremony.  The Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery is located in North Hanover Township, N.J.  The Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery is New Jersey’s sole state-operated veterans’ cemetery.  Dedicated in 1986, it is managed by the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and is the busiest state veteran cemetery in the nation, averaging nearly 3,000 interments each year.  It is the final resting place for more than 43,000 veterans and family members.  (NJDMAVA photo by Mark C.
