Governor Chris Christie, Cooper Chairman of the Board George E. Norcross, III, and MD Anderson President Ronald DePinho, M.D., announce Cooper University Health Care and MD Anderson Cancer Center have signed a letter of intent to form a partnership that will provide cancer patients in our region with access to the most advanced cancer treatments available at the Statehouse in Trenton, N.J. on Monday, June 10, 2013. The institutions have agreed to create joint Cooper-MD Anderson Cancer Centers in New Jersey. The partnership will include exclusivity for MD Anderson services to be provided in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. (Governor's Office/Tim Larsen)
