First Lady Mary Pat Christie Launches New Website

Trenton, NJ – Further showcasing Jersey Pride and the Garden State, First Lady Mary Pat Christie today unveiled her official website at
As New Jersey’s First Lady I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to visit with organizations and individuals who are working to make the Garden State a better place,” said Mrs. Christie.  “This website is a way to share my experiences with residents on some of the great things and people that make New Jersey such a wonderful state in which to live, work, vacation and raise a family.” 

The new site, which can be accessed from the main New Jersey State website, includes the following sections:

·         Following the First Lady, chronicling the first lady’s visits to businesses and organizations throughout the state; 

·         Mary Pat’s Favorite Things, featuring some of the first lady’s favorite things from museums, restaurants and other Garden State attractions;   

·         Photo Gallery, displaying images from events attended by Mrs. Christie; 

·         Links to Sites Highlighting Jersey Pride;

o    Drumthwacket, the Governor’s official residence and nationally recognized house museum that is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places;

o    The New Jersey Hall of Fame, honoring and recognizing New Jersey citizens who have made invaluable contributions to society and the world beyond; and

o    New Jersey Fresh, promoting Jersey produced products that can be found at roadside markets, u-pick-it farms and agritourism events.

“I’ve met and been inspired by so many people who are impacting New Jersey in their own unique way – big and small.  I hope that everyone will take the time to visit this site regularly to learn more about the good work that’s going on in our state,” added Mrs. Christie.
