Lt. Governor Guadagno Attends Axtria Inc. Grand Opening

Celebrates the Big Data Company’s Facility Expansion

Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno and Axtria Inc. Co-Founder and CEO Jaswinder ChadhaTrenton, NJ – Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno yesterday joined Axtria Inc. Co-Founder and CEO Jaswinder Chadha for the grand opening ceremony for the company’s newly expanded facility in Berkeley Heights.

"Axtria's project keeps 100 jobs right where they belong, here in New Jersey, and brings with it an expected 75 additional positions," said Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno. "Attracting this type of job-creating investment is critical to success in today's 21st century innovation economy”

Axtria Inc. has held a place in New Jersey’s big data and analytics industry since 2009. The expansion represents a capital investment of $1.1 million into the now 28,000-square-foot facility, which will allow for the big data and analytics firm to stay in New Jersey and continue to grow. The new expansion will allow for the company to retain all 100 current jobs and brings with it the potential for up to 75 new positions.

The expansion was made possible in part by a $3.65 million Grow NJ award that Axtria Inc. received in September 2015. This project is expected to provide the state with a net benefit of $32,450,399 over a period of 20 years.
