Asked Questions about the 2010 Application Process

All applications are now
available on this website.
-
To be eligible for the New Jersey Governor’s
Schools, a nominee must have completed the Junior
year of high school during the 2009-2010 school year,
and
expect to be a Senior for the 2010 - 2011 school year.

Completed applications must be received
by the Governor's School Programs
by January 15, 2010. Each
program will make the final decision on applicants based
on criteria developed
by the
program and email selection committee's decisions to
all nominees by April
of 2010.

If applicants are unable to submit junior
year PSAT scores by the deadline submission date, they
should forward them
directly to
the college hosting the Governor's School to which they
have been nominated. Schools can submit 2008 (sophomore)
PSAT scores and then
forward
the 2009 PSAT scores directly to the
college. Mailing addresses are included in each application
and are also available here.
- New Jersey residents who
attend out-of-state high schools or are home schooled will submit their
applications directly to:
