Emergency Medical Services Council,

Commissioner’s Executive Order #156 (1990); amended by Commissioner’s Executive Order #189 (2001)

Purpose: 
The Council serves as the main EMS Advisory Council to the DHSS Commissioner and the Office of Emergency Medical Services.  It makes recommendations and advises on EMS in New Jersey; monitors legislative developments at all levels and in other states; and develops and supports statewide public information and education for consumers regarding EMS in New Jersey.
