Purpose:
The Commission reviews and authorizes approved research projects to encourage the development within the State of spinal cord research projects; apportions available funds to approved research; compiles a directory of all spinal cord research projects being conducted in the State; and provides the Governor and Legislature with an annual report describing the status of the Commission’s activities and the results of its funded research efforts.
