From SFY2000 through SFY 2012, the NJCEED Program provided hundreds of thousands of screenings for Breast, Cervical, Colorectal and Prostate cancers.  These screenings resulted in 1,218 cases of cancer being diagnosed and follow-up services being provided, as appropriate.

Since July 1, 2000, the NJCEED Breast and Cervical has provided:

  • 149,818 screening mammograms
    982 breast cancer cases diagnosed

  • 109,803 Pap tests
    74 cases of cervical cancer have been found

Since July 1, 2000, the NJCEED Colorectal and Prostate has screened:

  • 44,919 colorectal screenings
    36 cases of colorectal cancer have been found
