The Cumberland County Cancer Coalition is committed to disseminating the findings of the recent (2004) Cancer Capacity and Needs Assessment; to aligning members of the coalition in workgroups for which they are best suited; and identifying and implementing the most effective interventions (research-tested intervention programs [R-TIPs]) to reduce cancer mortality in Cumberland County. The Cumberland County Cancer Coalition is made possible by a grant from the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services’ Office of Cancer Control and Prevention.
