About OISP

The Office of Injury Surveillance and Prevention (OISP) is a central source for injury statistics as well as home to several special injury projects, such as a central nervous system injury registry and a violent death reporting system. OISP is working to integrate surveillance data with injury prevention and control efforts.

In addition, OISP has formed the New Jersey Injury Prevention and Control State Plan Core Advisory Group comprised of key injury prevention professionals across the state. This group is developing a comprehensive injury prevention and control strategic plan for New Jersey.
